Brunch at Matchbox
Brunch at Matchbox is turning into a popular affair. I was there yesterday to scope out the scene and report back. To be frank, I don’t particularly care for the brunch-time meal. My stomach is usually too queasy for really heavy, greasy food after a night out and the thought of cocktails in the morning isn’t appealing. But nonetheless, Matchbox’s selections looked tasty. The chorizo & manchego egg tortilla was huge and nicely prepared. But the items that looked best were the cocktails, especially the champagne cocktails. Included were the chinatown made of peach juice, peach snapps, and a melon slice and the palm springs made from grapefruit juice and pomegarnite liquor. It is definitely worth a trip.
