Best bets for tonight

In my oh so wise opinion, the following are probably the best places to go tonight:

Asylum- $200 for best costume, cheap drinks anyway but free drinks, bar tabs, giveaways for whatever the staff decides

Cafe Citron- two for one drinks from 4-7 and $200 for best costume

My Brother's Place- this place is hard to find so google map it before you leave. Costumer contest winner get happy hour for 10 friends with free draft beer and $1 rails.

This is a blog written by a couple of DCers, who like to drink a little, learn a little, live a lot and all without going broke. Gone Out DC contains information about events/news/happy hours that we believe are most worthy of your time in the Washington (and surrounding) area. Our friends have told us things like "wow, you know things" so we thought we would share the news with the world. We believe that having an active social life in DC doesn't necessarily mean tapping into a savings account, increasing your credit card debt, or sacrificing that potential student loan interest payment for an opera ticket, nature walk, or drink (at VERY least, you know you've thought about it).
