Question

While it’s definitely a step in the right direction (meter pricing and lights to signify availability), does anyone have any thoughts about whether drivers will still pass me up when they don’t feel like going to my neighborhood? Will drivers still keep the back doors of the cabs locked until they’ve decided they will drive me? Obviously, being on meters will help keep the price fair but that doesn’t mean that drivers will want to take me to NE on a Monday night where they won’t be able to pick up another fare like they would on a Adams Morgan to Foggy Bottom trip.
