There’s a new restaurant in my (recently new) neck of the woods- Silver Spring. It sounds pretty exciting and you know that this is much needed in the land of Macaroni Grill and Red Lobster. (And Eggspectation- what’s the deal with that name? It sounds like a fertility clinic. For real, I still haven’t been able to stomach eating there.) Nicaro is brought to you by the Executive Chef from Tabard Inn. The direction is local, seasonal products and will be changed regularly. Thumbs Up: using local sustainable farms and eating seasonally are great ways to preserve our food system.
