Drink for free and learn about the environment

Hang out with some cool cats from the Sierra Club tonight at Temperance Hall to learn more about important stuff like, I don’t know, global warming. There’s free beer. I’ll repeat, free beer. It’s from 7pm-9pm. They have REALLY tasty food if you get munchy- try the garlic fries or fuji & fontina.

This is a blog written by a couple of DCers, who like to drink a little, learn a little, live a lot and all without going broke. Gone Out DC contains information about events/news/happy hours that we believe are most worthy of your time in the Washington (and surrounding) area. Our friends have told us things like "wow, you know things" so we thought we would share the news with the world. We believe that having an active social life in DC doesn't necessarily mean tapping into a savings account, increasing your credit card debt, or sacrificing that potential student loan interest payment for an opera ticket, nature walk, or drink (at VERY least, you know you've thought about it).

Besides, why research when we are going to do it for you anyway?
